Loft
Barcelona, 2021
This project was carried out within the subject Projectes II of my bachelors.
The loft is located on the outskirts of Olot, in Garrotxa. It is an ephemeral space located at the top of an old but rehabilitated masia.
The users are a young couple from Barcelona that have decided to leave the city to change their lifestyle. She is a professional musician, plays bass, and he is a music producer.
The space required a space dedicated to music and acoustically conditioned. They don't like closed spaces, so an open and continuous distribution is planned, where on the first floor there will be the kitchen, the dining room/rest room, the room and the bathroom, and on the upper flor the recording studio.
The couple want an aesthetic that follows the preexisting style of the space, but at the same time an industrial touch.
